Formed by Southend Interactive alumni Simon Flesser and Magnus 'Gordon' Gardebäck after the release of Xbox Live Arcade darling (and Billie Eilish favourite) ilomilo, the Malmö duo have released a string of critically acclaimed and award-winning games across multiple platforms.  

Heartbeats, Dreams and Laser Eyes: 15 Years of Simogo marks this milestone in comprehensive fashion, covering the studio's formation, the making of the nine games it has released to date, the side-projects related to those (from e-books to radio plays) and even some that never saw the light of day. But it's also about the way Simogo thinks and works: Heartbeats, Dreams and Laser Eyes explores the studio's inspirations, ideas and processes to find out what really makes it tick. There are profiles on the talented collaborators who have played crucial roles in the Simogo story so far. And the book features talented collaborators of its own: writers Holly Nielsen, Christian Donlan, Nadia Oxford and Aaron Riccio contribute thought-provoking essays, delving deeper into games like Year Walk, SPL-T, Sayonara Wild Hearts and Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. The result is a richly detailed retrospective that will provide readers with a deeper understanding of one of the most consistently inventive studios in the business.
