How a Game Lives has shipped! 🎉

We’re incredibly happy to share that How a Game Lives: The Annotated Essays of Jacob Geller is printed, in hand, and now shipping. 🥳🎉🎉

All Deluxe Edition copies (that’s all 5,000+ of you) across all territories, including signed copies, have been shipped.

Standard Edition copies are also in hand and packed, and will start shipping early next week.

Please give some time before asking our customer service team for any updates, and please note delivery time will vary depending on region. You can use this page here to track your package, and should receive your tracking information via the email address attached to your order soon.

With the book now shipping, this is our last production update on HAGL. Thank you again for your patience - we are very self-aware about the wait and are incredibly appreciative. This has been a real work of passion for our team at Lost In Cult and Jacob Geller himself - we promise the final book is worth the wait. With 16,000+ copies printed, packed, and quality checked, this is one of the biggest launches we’ve ever had the pleasure of working on.

We can’t wait to get this in your hands - make sure to share pics of your copy on our social media channels! In the meantime, here’s some more sexy shots of our beautiful final book.

We’ll have an exciting update on Make Us Whole: The History of Dead Space next week, and will update again soon on Immortality: Design Works, [lock-on] 006, and other books with more production updates.

As a reminder - we recently released EDITIONS, our solution for a different, better physical games option.

Immortality (PS5) has now sold out, with Thank Goodness You’re Here (Switch/PS5) and The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow (Switch) also hot on its heels.

We have a small amount of remaining Immortality (PS5) stock in our EDITIONS PlayStation Bundle #01, which also includes the PS5 version of TGYH, and our next unannounced PS5 release. This is the perfect way for those aiming to collect our full line-up to pick up a copy before they’re gone.

Thank you so much again for such a warm, glowing reception to our physical releases. We hoped others would understand our vision, but was over the moon by how many of you understood what we were aiming to accomplish.

Of course, as part of our preservation and availability ethos, we also release standard versions of each game at retail. Stockists include Amazon US, Best Buy, VGP, and more, and we have some limited stock on our own store available now.
